Robert W. Gale has taught Trumpet and other brass instruments in the Seattle area for more than 20 years. He teaches students at all ages and levels, from beginner to college and beyond.
His students have placed well in Solo and Ensemble competitions, and have won prizes in the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, the Reno Jazz Festival, and the National Trumpet Competition. Some have continued their study at schools like the Berkelee College of Music and the New England Conservatory. A former student was recently in the finals for an opening with the Oregon Symphony.
He teaches at several locations including Easthill Music, North Benson Music, A Sharp Music, and his home in Mountlake Terrace. Lessons focus on fundamentals: breathing, tone, range, technique, flexibility, and reading. Students learn to play with confidence and musicality in several styles.
Half-hour weekly lessons are $100 per month. |
